2025 Summer Reunion

On 13th August 2025, the Trustees of GCNF welcomed guests to the annual summer reunion for retired community nurses at Whitminster Village Hall. 

GCNF Chair, Jackie Smith, introduced seven of her fellow Trustees and gave a brief update of the charity’s grant-giving activities during the previous year, noting that for the first time referrals had been received from all areas of the county. Raising awareness of the charity is an ongoing aim, and those present were invited to take information leaflets to distribute in their local communities.

Thirty guests came from across the county and all enjoyed the opportunity to meet up with old friends and former colleagues. Unfortunately the extremely hot weather meant that some of our invited guests were unable to attend.

Warm (and it was!) thanks go to the ladies of Frampton WI for providing a splendid afternoon tea.
